Established in 1886, Saint Stanislaus School has a long history of serving the Slavic Village neighborhood. As the community has changed, so have we. Through the lens of Catholic education, we have high expectations of our students and work with parents and families to guide our students towards success. That success includes sound academic performance, good character, and an awareness that we are all a part of a larger community where our contribution matters. Additionally, our partner across the parking lot, Cleveland Central Catholic, continues the tradition of preparedness for success for students in grades 9 through 12.
From the Co-Principal, Mr. Vassanelli ~The month of February has the distinction of being the shortest of the year, but I can assure you there is no shortage of celebrations. We begin our month at the conclusion of Catholic Schools Week. The theme for 2025 is United in Faith and Community. It is always heartwarming to see our faith and learning communities come together to showcase the excellence of Catholic Schools, as well as the impact it has on our students.
This month we also celebrate Black History, in which we as a school community will focus on the contributions and achievements of notable African Americans. We will honor these outstanding men and women, past and present, for the roles they have played in shaping our country’s history. Lastly, February is also notable for Valentine’s Day, which is symbolized by the heart. Each day we are reminded of God’s work, and the love he shares with each of us. Should you find yourself in the building at any point this month, I think it’s fair to say you’ll find our hearts in all the right places. |
