Established in 1886, Saint Stanislaus School has a long history of serving the Slavic Village neighborhood. As the community has changed, so have we. Through the lens of Catholic education, we have high expectations of our students and work with parents and families to guide our students towards success. That success includes sound academic performance, good character, and an awareness that we are all a part of a larger community where our contribution matters. Additionally, our partner across the parking lot, Cleveland Central Catholic, continues the tradition of preparedness for success for students in grades 9 through 12.
From the Principal, Dr. Martin ~He is Risen! God's promise is fulfilled! Lent is over! ... now what?
Life, post-Easter, presents challenges unique to this time of year. As we reflect on our Lenten promises, it is not only how well we followed them during Lent, but rather are they now a part of our every day lives? We worked our way through Lent, waiting for the glorious day of Easter. But Easter is not just a day; it is a way of life. Is Jesus at the forefront of our thoughts and actions? Did his suffering go away with the resurrection? No, Jesus still suffers as he watches us forget Him, our promises, and the spectacular gift of his ascension into heaven. We do not want to let Jesus down. We want to life a glorified life, close to Him. We welcome our students back from Easter break, with a little bit over a month left before we send them off for summer. We will do our best to help them keep their Lenten promises alive, and to keep Jesus close to their hearts. Peace and all good~ |
